About the research

Objective
This project was undertaken in order to provide agencies with a guide to fully utilize their own weather data and that of other agencies. This effort involved identifying the level of integration of data from different devices or from different jurisdictions, identifying best practices in integrating RWIS from multiple agencies and the barriers to that integration, and developing a conceptual design for information exchange among various states and different types of RWIS devices.This project was undertaken in order to provide agencies with a guide to fully utilize their own weather data and that of other agencies.
